As I was heading home today, I realized how boring driving in a straight, level line can be. It is safe. It is comfortable. But there is no challenge to it. It is the “dry white toast” of driving (props out to My Big Fat Greek Wedding).

Driving only gets fun when there are turns, when you must speed up, slow down, go over hills and into valleys. Sometimes you get behind people that are too slow, and sometimes you must learn how to keep up with people that are driving fast and making more progress than you.

Stop taking the straight road in life. Relish in the hills and the valleys. That is where the fun can be found.
