Absent any hard factual data or data, people don’t believe they will rely on fear, uncertainty, and doubt. More than likely, your circle of friends and family is divided into roughly two camps with some gray areas in there.
The first camp are the people which I consider me to be one of who rely on fact in fact based information, which is really kind of weird because information should all be fact based. I like science. I like prove it or it’s not true. And then you have another camp which relies on rumors and speculation. It’s this thing called “FUD”. (Fear, uncertainty, and doubt.)
You’ve got to be hyper aware of when you’re reading or having a discussion about something, whether the person you’re discussing it with is relying on fear, uncertainty and doubt or fact based data.
Please, please, always go with the fact based data.
There’s facts and there’s an opinion.
There’s no alternative facts.
Screw that crap.
