The bar is sooooo low — Part two.
So, the other day I was talking about how in the world the bar is so low that all you gotta do is be average or barely above average. You can leap over it. Well, here’s a trick I’ve learned over the past few years on these very walks that’s made my personal bar a lot higher …
One of the reasons I started walking is because I was trying to get in that minimum of 10,000 steps a day. And this is my way of kicking it off. Well, now, on these morning walks, for me, 10,000 steps is how I start the day. So the time right now is 640. I will have 10,000 steps in before 07:00. And that’s my bare minimum to start today.
So just take your bar, your maximum bar, or your high accelerating bar, and slowly make that your minimum to start your day. And then, you know, it won’t. It won’t perpetually grow. You can’t do 500,000 steps in a day, but that’s one way of resetting your minimum progress.
