There are plenty of things in life I regret, but I never in a million years will regret being too loud, too outrageous, wearing colors that are too bright, saying something too outrageous or regret or, you know, holding back or saying something that might offend somebody. Meaning, I’m not worried about offending someone. I don’t go out of my way to offend someone. But we’ve learned that in this day and age, everything you say will offend someone.
Soooo … I’ve been told many times when I’m talking, “Patrick, lower your voice. You’re too loud.” And I’m like, “I’m loud on purpose. I want people to hear me!”
So, wear the bright thing. Don’t save the bright clothes, the bright socks, the bright skirt, the bright blouse. Don’t save that for a special occasion. Wear that every single day.
Be a unicorn.
Fart and sprinkles, baby.
