Hey, my friends, there are two things I want to talk to you about today, in particular in regards to social media. So we’re going to get a little Meta.
One is just remember, please, that social media is not real life. Okay? The things that people do and say on social media, they would never say in person. Heck, if you look at my office looks perfect on social media. What you can’t see is I’ve got some paper over here, I’ve got some cable mess over here. My office is not this pretty, little glorious palace of things, but when it comes to how people treat you and use a beautiful of language online, you know that stuff isn’t real. And they would never say that in person. So take it all with a grain of salt. And my last reminder is, you know what?
You have the choice to block people on social media. You don’t have to scroll past it and say, oh, that person’s having a bad day. Block somebody if they’re giving you crap and they’re just abusing you, okay? You have a choice, and social media is not real life.
