As we get older and more mature, we start looking for shortcuts.
Actually, when I was young, I was looking for shortcuts, too. But the older I get, the more I look for shortcuts and how to do things quick and easy. And those, to me, are what I consider life. Hacks, they’re not these major things. There’s not a major chemical, for example, I could put in my body to lose 20 pounds in the next 48 hours. That would be an amazing hack, but that doesn’t exist. Hacks are these short, little quick improvements, little tweaks you can make to your life, to your diet, to your time, to your fitness, to your business, to make things easier. One of the best ones I’ve ever learned was questioning the construct of time. Eight to five, Monday through Friday, and yep, it’s a Sunday, but I don’t care.
I can do everything on a Tuesday, I can do on a Sunday, and I can do everything on a Sunday. I can do on a Tuesday. The seven days are just made up. 24 hours is made up. Work the hours you want, put in the time you want on the days you want, and, man, you’ll get further ahead than anybody else.
