Don’t over complicate the work.
This is what’s on my mind right now as I change the rest shirt and I’m getting ready for the gym. It’s about 4:20 US Central Time, and I’m thinking about the routine I’m gonna do. And recently, I’ve changed up my routine.
Like over the past four weeks, I’ve changed up my routine to be a lot fewer exercises, but a lot more volume. So I’m going deeper, not wider. And if you’re someone who’s trying to do something in business or at your job or, you know, at the gym, that is my message for you. Consider going deeper, not wider. Get your mind out of the gutter. Okay. But consider picking a smaller number of exercises or a smaller number of skills you want to improve and go hard and go deep on those. Get obsessed with those.
I’m noticing some serious progress in the gym. I think it’s because now I’m more focused on fewer exercises, but putting in a lot more volume and a lot more work on those exercises. Give it a shot. It’s pretty cool.
