Hey everyone!
In last week’s LIVE session, I got to share some exciting updates about my upcoming appearance at the High Level Conference in Dallas — can’t wait! I’ll be running a 5-hour training session on Monday before the main event kicks off, so if you haven’t already, make sure to register. I’ve even got some fun custom shirts with QR codes ready for networking.
This meeting really got me reflecting on my journey — especially the risks of entrepreneurship.
You all know my story — quitting that comfortable job at IBM back in 1998, pushing myself into the unknown. It wasn’t easy, especially with the panic that set in right before making the leap, but control and freedom in entrepreneurship outweighed the comfort of a stable paycheck.
One of the main things I discussed was the importance of constantly marketing and networking. No matter how busy I get, these are non-negotiables. If you want to grow your business, you’ve got to stay visible and make connections. For example, at this conference, I’ll be taking advantage of every opportunity to meet new people and showcase what we do, hence the QR code shirts.
I also touched on the challenges of scaling a business and bringing on partners. Trust me, I’ve seen a lot of people pitch their “great” ideas, but not all ideas are good for your business. It’s crucial to stay focused and avoid spreading yourself too thin. Having partners can help — but only when they truly align with your vision.
So, here’s my challenge to you: register for the free training at ghlbadass.com, keep focusing on growth, and stay proactive about your marketing. The rewards are worth the risks.
Catch you all in Dallas! Let’s do this!
