3 Ways To Start A Killer Day – Part 1 Of 3

Here is the first post in a series called "3 ways to start a killer day". I've learned some great ways in life start my day to be sure I get off and running the right way. I hope these inspire you to start off your morning with a bang.

Drink Water. Yes Water.

The first thing I do every morning when I get out of bed is drink water. I don't wait 1/2 hour. I don't do it after my shower. I do it immediately. Somewhere between 16 and 32 ounces. I keep my 32oz Gatorade bottles and just use that forever. And you don't want cold water. And you don't want ice. I learned awhile back that your body gets dehydrated when you sleep. This is one of the reasons we are groggy and have a hard time moving in the morning. But if you get water in your system, you metabolism kicks in and the body wakes you up faster. This is better than coffee or tea, and easier to fix. And it starts to flush any toxins out of your system that accumulated while you were sleeping.

Drink water first as your first task when you wake every morning. You will wake up faster and have more energy to attack the day.
